Juliette Colburn is an extremely versatile artist who has been creating for years, but has only recently released her work to share with collectors. Juliette began her artistic journey at a very early age with intricate drawings and paintings. As she grew older her imagination's playground has included clay, wax, plaster, metallics, resin, fabric, and stone.

Juliette's artistic diversity makes categorization of her work difficult. Her art ranges from impressionist to expressionist to abstract and beyond with bold contemporary pieces and ongoing series. Those struggling to place her in a genre or a style may select from those before mentioned, but the mixed media component and microscopic abstract impressionism separates her work and reveals an exciting talent and a genuinely original body of work.

Originally from New York, Juliette was educated as a medical professional. Her schooling and experience in the field has led her to explore the amazing world of microscopic images (tissues, organs, nerves, viruses, etc), one of her ongoing series. She also has a bold new series working with mixed media that grabs the viewer at once and immediately elicits strong reactions.
